Let’s go, friends...
Gift-giving can be stressful but, here’s the secret: guys are not as hard to shop for as we may think. Guys appreciate gifts that are practical, thoughtful, or just plain fun. Here are a few ideas to inspire you:
HEATED BLANKET:
I personally love to come home and rot underneath my heated blanket after a long day at work. It feels nice on the muscles.
If you live in the frigid cold like me (Chicago), then I promise you wont regret having one of these. Because nobody is mad about being cozy.
Amazon Heated Blanket - $39.98
RC TOYS:
I'm being serious. Let your man embrace an inner peace from their childhood with small versions of big things. It can be enjoyable at any age, and you may be surprised at how many grown men would fold at the opportunity to play with a remote-controlled miniature construction truck.
Not Convinced? Read some of the Reviews:
"My son absolutely loves this thing ( and I think my husband may as well). It's constructed very well and it's much more durable than other toys we've gotten." - Sami, 2024
"I could lie and say I bought this for a niece or nephew, but I got it for my own grown adult self. I love remote control toys, and I love being annoying - this toy accomplishes both. The excavator bucket is fun to use, and I was able to scoop up and dump little piles of dog food throughout the house." - A.S., 2024
TRADING CARDS AND/ OR COLLECTABLES:
Whether he's a seasoned collector, or not, it can be fun and even nostalgic to open a fresh pack of collecting cards. They come for all sorts of hobbies like; football, baseball, hockey, star wars, Pokemon, soccer. Yes, you can even get a Bob Ross set.
Bob Ross Trading Cards - $24.99
PERSONALIZED/ EMBROIDED:
I really like these embroidered key rings. It's a simple, but quality thing they can carry with them every day.
Most men aren't very picky about these small things, I think? So might as well get him something nice.
Embroidered Key Rings - $29.99
Take a stroll down the the Sentimental Route-
These watercolor framed pictures can be customized. Commemorate a Wedding Venue, Sports Venue, Home, Favorite Bar, or just a place that means a lot to him.
HOBBIES:
If they're into music,
I suggest picking up an accessory for them that shows you support their talents! Something like a this guitar strap (my husband bought this one on his own accord, so I recommended this style lol).
Does he listen to podcasts? Here's a hint: If he does, he's definitely brought it up several times.
Many podcasts have merchandise such as shirts, stickers, books or limited items. Get them something from the selection- It'll show that that we love practicing active listening.
Baseball fan? How about a scorebook?
Growing up, my dad kept score at my brother's little league games. I was always amazed at how quickly he could pen each stroke to the page- Each a mark corresponding to what just happened in the game.
It's a fun way to watch, and keep record of each exciting play. Might take some practice, but it's an art form.
If he's a lover of hiking and Travel,
U.S. and Canadian National Parks Services do this cool thing where you can get an official Stamp at parks throughout North America. There are passports made for this- Check it out:
THE GIFT OF CONVENIENCE:
Make them a cute little basket of their favorite snacks; Bake cookies, brownies, or whatever feels festive. Bonus: it’s cheap but personal. Similarly, A gift card to their favorite grocery store, coffee shop, or gas station.
WHAT EVER THEY ASKED FOR:
Of course, every guy has distinct interests and desires, so their wish lists will vary. Pay attention to what they've been eagerly talking about. What is something they've expressed interest in buying, but haven't acquired yet?
Just Make It Thoughtful... At the end of the day, a good gift is all about knowing the person and putting a little thought into it. Don’t stress too much—it’s the vibe that matters. Wrap it up cute, throw in a nice card, and boom: you’ve won the holidays.
Happy gifting,
Love Brenda xo
